About the Event

If you are a budding playwright and want to make a start on your own original script, this unique method may help you find your muse. Beginning with finding your story, adding character/ setting, and then crafting believable dialog, we’ll explore how to get you started on the path of staging your own creation. You will need your phone or camera. In addition, you should bring a pad of paper and your favorite pen/pencil, OR a good laptop or I-Pad to write down your thoughts.

Lee’s Summit Cultural Arts is a division of the City of Lee’s Summit Administration Department. In collaboration with the Cultural Commission, the division serves as the local arts agency for the City and the community. The division coordinates activities that elevate the arts including public art, partnership and funding opportunities.
